About Waifan Cheng:
Waifan Cheng is a licensed acupuncturist in NY and NJ. She is a graduate of the Swedish Institute Acupuncture program, trained in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and in the traditions of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM). While most people are familiar with the 12 Primary Meridians and TCM, the Secondary Channels are equally important. Classical Chinese acupuncture recognizes and uses more that 70 energetic pathways, which include:
  • The Luo Vessels and their relevance to emotional, hematologicaland gastrointestinal issues.
  • The Eight Extraordinary Vessels and their use with
    constitutional, reproductive and identity issues.
  • The Divergent Meridians and their implication in the treatment
    of chronic diseases.
  • The Sinew Channels and the tendinomuscular terrain.
She has worked for Saint Vincent’s Hospital as a NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) acupuncturist for many years. She has accumulated a wealth of knowledge from many prominent teachers in her path to provide the best health strategies to treat her patients.

Waifan has learned many modalities of healing to incorporate into her practice to make a treatment beyond ordinary! Her training includes classical acupuncture, far infrared therapy, cranial sacral therapy, lymph drainage, zero balancing and reiki.
